Meet our Team

Sadia-Himalaya Rajput, M.A, Ph.D. (candidate) Executive Director SCLC


An Americorps alumni with a multifaceted career in social services, counseling, and child advocacy, pertaining to cultural diversity in nonprofit sectors, Sadia found her self right at home when she started her career at SCLC in 2019.  SCLC's culturally rich and diverse team shares their collective vision and mission of service with Sadia. SCLC's core vision is to help immigrants, refugees and LEP (Limited English Proficient) communities thrive to their optimal wellbeing. 

Stargazing, being in nature, reading (mostly physics and philosophy journals), and collecting books are few of Sadia's favorite pastimes. 

Andrew Suh, Office Administrator SCLC

Andrew Suh, Office Administrator SCLC 


Born and raised in Sacramento, Andrew strives to challenge himself by being of service to the community and his team at SCLC. His goal is agency and personal growth and intends to bring everyone upwards with him. "Life is never so busy that there is no time to serve"

Andrew's hobbies consist of computer hardware, film study, and boxing technique.

Andrey Ambalov, Russian Cultural and Linguistic Specialist 


 Andrey has been with SCLC since 1999. He has a long impressive record of diligently serving the Russian community in Sacramento spanning over three decades. Andrey attributes his passion for service to his love of humanity and people.  Andrey holds an industrial electrical technology degree.

Andrey enjoys music, sports, and loves to remodel homes when he has time.  


Atary Xiong, Hmong Cultural and Linguistic Specialist 


Atary has been serving SCLC for over two decades.  Atary 's second career as a TV producer has earned him a huge network in Hmong community which he utilizes by linking SCLC to Hmong community partners in order to organizing the events, and assist the community through SCLC. 

Atary enjoys travelling and being in nature, capturing the beautiful sceneries with his camera.

Cha Fang Hmong Cultural, and Linguistic Specialist ,

 

Cha Fang, Hmong Cultural and Linguistic Specialist 


Cha had been an interpreter since 2005, providing interpretations in courts,  and have worked as a medical examiner interpreter.  Cha can read and write in Hmong, and has in depth understanding of  the Hmong culture and tradition. Cha finds SCLC a perfect platform for her to connect the  Hmong community with invaluable resources.

Cha likes to travel to different countries, and enjoys biking in her spare time.

 Crystal Santiago, Spanish Cultural and Linguistic Specialist 


Crystal has been interpreting for 5 years in different settings; workers compensation, medical, mental health, and alcohol drug substance. Her goal is to continue growing in the medical field and developing more skills that can help assist more of her community.  

Crystal's hobbies are working out, playing tennis, and enjoying nature by going on hikes
